Hello:

 I am a low-income disabled woman in need of some dental work. In August 2009, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I had surgery in October 2009 to remove both breasts along with reconstructive surgery. In December of '09, I started 6 rounds of chemo followed by 35 radiation treatments. 

My healing was progressing until I developed a hernia from the reconstruction surgery (they took part of my abdomen along with my abdominal muscles to construct my breasts).

In Nov.'10, I had surgery to repair the hernia as well as the second phase of reconstruction to my breasts. I was to only be in the hospital overnight but due to complications, I ended up hospitalized for 2 weeks. I returned home the day before Thanksgiving but still was not doing well. The Sunday after Thanksgiving, the paramedics were called to take me to the hospital again. It was determined that I was in acute renal failure due to a bowel obstruction. I was in ICU for a number of days. While in the hospital, I was placed on dialysis with the hope that my kidney functions would kick back in. After another two weeks in the hospital, I was released to go home.

On New Year's Day of 2011, I began feeling ill again and was taken to the ER. After several tests, I was admitted again and scheduled for a colonoscopy to determine the problem. It was discovered that a section of my colon was almost completely closed off. I was scheduled for surgery to correct this. I Thought they would just remove the bad section, sew me up, and I could go home in a couple of days. I woke up with a colostomy which I had until April of 2011.

Ever since the chemo treatments, my teeth have been feeling like they are about to fall from my head. The chemo did damage while undergoing treatments.

I would really appreciate it if I could receive some assistance in getting my teeth fixed. I am on a fixed income and can barely make ends meet.

I have put two daughters through college and never thought I would be at a point in my life where I would be asking for assistance. Prior to all my health issues, I had always worked. I also have a lung illness which was the cause of my medical retirement in 2003.

Hi if anyone knows where I can get dentures done extremely cheap please do let me know. I had saved for them for couple years but unexpected chains of events have happened I lost both my parents 9 months apart and neither had wills so had to hire a lawyer to handle the estate as my moms house got sold illegally got it back Thank God for that. My dad died 2 weeks after a car accident in August 2009 my mom May 2010 she had stroke in 2007 so her death was related to the complications and grieveing of my dad . After my dad passed away I spent several days and night at a time with my mom in hospital never left her when she would be hospitalized she was my heart soul and best friend I miss her so much but I know she is in a much better place and Happy now. I look at my smile now that once was so beautiful I look at it now and want to cry. I tried as hard as I could over years to take care of my teeth but last few years I have failed due to life circumstances I also have my mentally ill sister thats 63 yrs old thats been living with me for 4 yrs almost my mom couldnt take care of her so she asked me to. This isnt a cry out for charity I m just asking if anyone knows someone that may or can do them at a reduced rate compared to what the normal dentist charge. i am a father of two kids and have never been late on my bills...but i had surgery on my neck and now cant make ends meet until i am allowed to return to work...any help would be greatly appreciated....thank you

I am a single mother in need of help.  I need to build a kitchen in my basement.  I am a baker and a cake decorator who wants to start my own business.  I cannot afford to build a kitchen or to purchase the equipment needed in the kitchen.  I am praying that there is someone out there who can help me.
